We were pleased to host this year’s Border Skirmish, welcoming Harpenden and Ware for what proved to be a highly competitive and closely fought three-way match. With both PDIs and prints to count, the evening remained finely balanced throughout, creating a tense and engaging contest for all involved.

From the outset it was clear that margins would be tight — and that proved to be the case right through to the final totals.

This was a genuine club performance, with strength and depth across both PDIs and prints. Special mention to Sue Hood and Ray Lovelock, two of our newer members, both scoring excellent 18s in a competitive inter-club match.

Also a big thank you to Adele and Clare for providing the scrumptious cakes for the break.

A strong home result and a performance the club can be very proud of.
