We’re thrilled to share the results from the Bedfordshire Invitational, held at Shillington on Monday 27th October.
This long-running inter-club event brought together 10 clubs from across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, showcasing an impressive standard of photography throughout the evening.
A huge thank-you to Chris and Adele for attending on my behalf, representing the club superbly on the night while we were hosting the Four-Way Battle back home. Your efforts, both on and off the screen, are greatly appreciated!

Highlights from the Night
It was a close and competitive evening, with many high-quality entries from across the region. Our photographers delivered an outstanding performance, with several standout scores:
The Eye by Nicola Scott – 20 points
Dottie with Partridge by Darren Summers – 20 points
Sand Patterns, Fermoyle Strand by Adele Gibson – 19 points
Other images scored between 16 and 18 points, giving our club one of the most consistent overall sets of the evening.
In a thrilling finish, our club tied for first place, and to make the night even more special, our reserve image, A Successful Dive by Ian Rawlings, won the competition outright!
This is the first time since 2007 that our club has claimed the top award at the Bedfordshire Invitational. We’ve finished a close second several times over the past decade, so it’s especially satisfying to finally reclaim the trophy!
